The Water

Exploring the Water

At some point in life, I realized there are so many ways to enjoy the water! For me, living in the Tampa Bay area provides access to the Gulf, the Bay, Rivers and lakes. The variety of water sports provides so many opportunities to have fun and unwind. Fishing, Boating, Kayaking, snorkeling, diving, and swimming are just the beginning.
Surprisingly Awesome Water Fun:

Scalloping in the Gulf is like an Easter egg hunt in the water. It's very addicting to set anchor on some grass flats and find the scallops. Time will fly! For you seafood lovers, if you cook them right, they make for amazing fresh seafood!

Airboating image

Airboating is unlike anything you've experienced. One minute you're gliding across the water and the next minute you're gliding across thick vegetation. You'll need ear protection because the engine is loud. You may have to travel for this unique experience to somewhere like Florida or Louisiana - but it's very worth it!

Fishing

Fishing is a wonderful outlet for sport and just to unwind. There's really nothing like getting a fish on the line! Whether you're just starting or you're a longtime fishing veteran, we're all still learning how to catch more fish. For me it's a great diversion from the work week and a great way to pass the time.
Stay tuned for more fishing content!

Boating, Kayaking, and Paddle Boarding

There's nothing like getting on a boat for a nice cruise or for some fishing. Things just look different from the perspective of the water. The blood pressure comes down and we soak up the sun for some natural vitamin D.

My boat is a Key West 1720 and I like to get out every chance I get. However, sometimes I like the simplicity of a kayak or stand up paddleboard. I can launch in places that are more remote or quiet. It's a great option for enjoying the ocean, lakes, and rivers.
