My Profile

Rocky Mountains image

Like most kids, a bike was my transportation throughout my childhood. Now that I'm older, my bikes continue to be a big part of my identity and fitness routine. I have a Cruzbike S40 recumbent bike, a Trek Domane AL2 road bike, and a pretty basic aluminum mountain bike.

At age 21, I started day hiking the Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee mountains. After being inspired by YouTube videos on channels like "Homemade Wanderlust" and "Darwin OnTheTrail", I got the bug to start section hiking the Appalachian Trail in 2019. I've section hiked over 400 miles of the AT so far, backpacked the Grand Canyon, and other awesome hikes. I've found it incredibly helpful to unplug from technology and expand my skills and comfort zone in nature.
I live in Florida and have easy access to all types of water - saltwater, lakes, and spring fed rivers. I love water sports including: Boating, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, and snorkeling.
On a more personal level: The outdoors and staying physically active enriches my relationship with God. With that lens, sunsets, canyons, mountains, beautiful waters, and cool animals have rich meaning and bring so much enjoyment.
