The Motivation

In a world progressively dependant on technology and drowned by distractions, I think many of us find it challenging and foreign to get out and enjoy the outdoors, adventure and staying active. In my own journey, I've found techniques and best practices to thrive outside my comfort zone safely. I want to (1) Inspire and (2) Equip others so they can do the same.
It's my wish that this content inspires you to escape the trappings of "the real world" and find the information to take the next step toward adventure and an active lifestyle.

My Profile

Like most kids, once I learned to ride a bike, it was my transportation throughout my childhood. Now that I'm older, my bikes continue to be a big part of my identity and fitness routine. I have a Cruzbike S40 recumbent bike, a Trek Domane AL2 road bike, and a pretty basic aluminum mountain bike.
From age 21, I started day hiking the Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee mountains. After binging some YouTube videos on channels like "Homemade Wanderlust" and "Darwin OnTheTrail", I got the bug to start section hiking the Appalachian Trail in 2019. I've section hiked 400 miles of the AT, backpacked the Grand Canyon, and other awesome hikes. I've found it incredibly helpful to unplug from technology and expand my comfort zone in nature.
I live in Florida and have easy access to all types of water - saltwater, lakes, and spring fed rivers. I love water sports including: Boating, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, and snorkeling.
On a more personal level: The outdoors and staying physically active enriches my relationship with God. With that lens, sunsets, canyons, mountains, beautiful waters, and cool animals have so much more meaning and bring so much more enjoyment.
